31% growth in unloading basic commodities in Iranian ports
The basic commodities unloaded in the country's ports in the last nine months has grown by 31 percent compared to the same period last year.

PMO News Portal - The total amount of unloaded basic commodities including wheat, barley, corn, soybean, rice, sugar and oil in the country's ports during the first 9 months of the year (Iranian calendar, started on March 21) was equal to 20 million 114 thousand 735 tons, which shows a growth of 31% compared to the recorded 15 million 305 thousand 375 tons basic commodities unloaded last year.

The total amount of wheat unloaded during the first 9 months of the year (Iranian calendar, started on March 21)  was equal to 4 million 768 thousand 669 tons, which has increased by 60% compared to the same period last year.

The total amount of barley unloaded during the first 9 months of the year (Iranian calendar, started on March 21) was equal to 2 million 634 thousand and 620 tons, which shows a growth of 136 percent compared to the same period last year.
