64% increase in transit of non-oil goods in the ports of Hormozgan
Since the beginning of this year (Iranian Calendar), more than 1.7 million tons of oil and non-oil goods have been exported through the ports of East of Hormozgan, which has increased by 38% compared to last year.

PMO News Portal - Hamid Reza Mohammad Hosseini Takhti; Director of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Shahid Bahonar and East of Hormozgan, reported the amount of transit of non-oil goods in the ports of the east of the province in the last 8 months as 29 thousand 667 tons which has led to a 64% increase in transit.

Hosseini Takhti stated that the main operational indicators are related to non-oil goods amounting to one million and 150 thousand tons and said: these goods include construction materials and agricultural products that have been exported to the Persian Gulf littoral states.

In September, for the first time, a commercial launch boat with a capacity of 2,700 tons loaded a variety of food products and berthed in one of the East African ports after a voyage of 1300 miles.
