PMO News Portal - Regarding the measures taken in the field
of coastal and port engineering in Hormozgan province since the beginning of
this year (Iranian calendar year) to mid-August, Alireza Mohammadi Karaji Ran
stated: The most important of these measures were supervising the construction
and issuing exploitation licenses, as well as the hydrographic operations in
the mainland and the islands of the province.
He added: reviewing and supervising the construction and
issuing licenses for the operation of the largest crude oil terminal of Kuh-e
Mubarak (Jask city) and also supervising the construction of water intake
channels for shrimp farms on Qeshm Island have been performed.
Mohammadi Karaji Ran pointed out the operation of 12,000
kilometers of hydrography: the operation included 16 ports in the mainland and
the islands of the province, which was implemented with single-beam and multi-beam
systems.
According to the General Director of Ports and Maritime of
Hormozgan, compiling a guide to complete the studies of phase 2 of the
comprehensive plan of Shahid Rajaei Port Complex and obtaining approval from
the Board of Directors of the Ports and Maritime Organization had also been on
the agenda.
