10% growth in unloading and loading operations in Iranian ports
PMO’s Director General of Port Affairs announced a 9.8% increase in unloading and loading operations in the country's ports during the first four months of Iranian calendar year year compared to the same period last year.

PMO News Portal - Ravanbakhsh Behzadian pointed out that the volume of unloading and loading operations in the container sector, dry bulk, liquid bulk, general cargo and petroleum products in the country's ports during the first four months of the Iranian calendar was equal to 46.18 million tons. This amount has increased by 9.8% compared to the same period last year, which was equivalent to 42.07 million tons.

The Director General of Port Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization stated: The amount of unloading and loading operations during the first quarter of this year in the container sector is 6.66 million tons, 13.69 million tons for dry bulk, 1.47 million tons for liquid bulk, 6.89 million tons for General Cargo and 17.46 million tons for petroleum products, which recorded a growth of 9.8 percent.

It is worth mentioning that the ports of Abadan, Arvandkenar, Astara, Imam, Amirabad, Anzali, Bushehr, Tiab, Jask, Chabahar, Charak, Choubdeh, Khorramshahr, Deir, Shahid Bahonar, Shahid Rajaei, Shahid Haghani, Fereydoun Kenar, Qeshm , Genaveh, Lengeh and Nowshahr were considered for the volume of unloading and loading operations.
