256% increase in foreign transit through Amirabad port to Caspian littoral states
Foreign transit of goods from Amirabad port to the Caspian littoral states has increased by 256 percent this year.

PMO News Portal – in this regard, The Deputy of Port and Economic Affairs of the General Directorate of Ports and Maritime of Amirabad stted: The amount of goods exported through Amirabad port within this year has increased by 33% compared to the same period last year.

Mohammad Ali Musapour reported the amount of exported goods in Amirabad port during this period as 194,362 tons and added: Mineral goods, construction materials, agricultural and livestock products, metals, wood boards, tools and petroleum products are among the main exported goods to the Caspian littoral states.

Deputy of Ports and Economic Affairs of Amirabad port pointed to a 256 percent increase in foreign transit of goods from Amirabad port to the Caspian countries compared to the same period last year and specified that Amirabad port accounts for 47% of unloading and loading and 46% of exports in the north coast of the country.
