Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development added: According to prior experiences in the development of Chabahar port, one of the key areas that can lead to the country’s economic prosperity is to create and increase the capacity of commercial ports along Makran coasts.

Rastad concluded: There are numerous small ports along the coast of Makran in Hormozgan and Sistan and Baluchestan province, which have commercial applications. These ports should ensure the creation of employment opportunities and economic prosperity along this important coastline.
