PMO News Portal - Regarding the process of unloading and
loading goods in Imam Khomeini port, Adel Deris stated that Since the beginning
of this year, 350 ships carrying basic commodities have docked in this port and
about to 8 million and 733 thousand tons of basic commodities including wheat,
corn, grain Oil, cooking oil, rice and sugar have been unloaded.
He added: "With the cooperation of the executive boddies
and with the aim of accelerating the exit of basic commodities and the
stability of the supply chain, 8 million and 549 thousand tons of basic commodities
have been transited to all parts of the country in various modes of
transportation."
Referring to the proper capacity of warehouses of this large
port complex for accepting and storing all kinds of goods, The Director General
of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Imam Khomeini port noted: More than 2 million
and 890 thousand types of basic goods are stored in warehouses Which is gradually
cleared after the necessary administrative formalities.
