announced by the National Corona Headquarters, - Changiz Javadpour stated that
the Ports and Maritime Organization has made every effort to ensure that there
is no disruption in the transit of goods and sea voyages, and therefore reached
a favorable situation in the field of ports and maritime activities. And we
have seafaring in terms of performance. The conditions have not changed
compared to the time before the outbreak of the corona virus in the country’s
ports.
PMO Director of Health and Environmental Safety emphasized that
in the field of maritime tourism, a proposal to limit the sea trips to natives
of the region was offered, and this proposal was approved by the Ministry of
Roads and Urban Development to restrict the spread of the virus during Nowruz
holidays.
He added: "This issue caused the corona virus to be
controlled during Nowruz and in two stages, and now the monitoring is carried
out while assessing and screening all passengers and people who enter and leave
commercial and passenger ports.
Javadpour continued: All vessels are disinfected regularly before
and after loading and boarding passengers. All entrances and exits before and
after the arrival and departure of the passenger are being disinfected. All these
measures have led to a sharp decline in number of coronavirus cases in the
ports of the country.
