Bunking infrastructure to be established in Chabahar port
The CEO of Qeshm Marine Services and Shipping Engineering Company announced the establishment of bunkering infrastructure for vessels in Chabahar port and other ports in the country.

PMO News Portal – Saeed Ghabiti stated: The storage capacity of Shahid Rajaei port bunkering site is 53,000 tons, which has directly and indirectly created 116 job opportunities for the locals.

Managing Director of Marine Services and Shipping Engineering mentioned the “Supply of fuel oil and low sulfur diesel and drinking water"; "Repair of navigation and radio inspection equipment"; "supply of all consumables, paints, oils and chemicals"; "Fuel storage in land tanks" and "Transit orders and handling of ship spare parts" have been the company's most important services to commercial vessels.

Referring to the international obligation to use low-sulfur fuel by commercial vessels, he added: "Despite many restrictions and problems in producing low-sulfur fuel, Shazand Arak refinery and Emam Khomeini refinery, succeeded to provide environmentally friendly fuel for commercial vessels in less than 2 months.
