6% increase in unloading and loading of petroleum products in the Persian Gulf port
Since the beginning of this year (Iranian Calendar) to the end of September, 17 million and 300 thousand tons of various petroleum products were unloaded and loaded in the Persian Gulf port, which has grown by 6% compared to the same period last year.

PMO News Portal - referring to the export of petroleum products from the Persian Gulf port since the beginning of the year (Iranian calendar) to the end of September, Alireza Mohammadi Karajiran, Director General of Ports and Maritime of Hormozgan province said: 917 thousand tons of exports were registered in the bitumen sector in the mentioned period, which has increased by 25% compared to the same period last year.

The director of Shahid Rajaei Port Special Economic Zone announced the amount of unloading and loading of various petroleum products since the beginning of the year to the end of September as 17 million and 300 thousand tons and said: "In this sector, a growth of 6% has been recorded."

He added: During this period, 713 vessels have been berthed in the Persian Gulf oil port, of which 275 vessels carrying bitumen, 49 vessels carrying gasoline and the remaining vessels carrying other petroleum products.

It is worth mentioning that the Persian Gulf oil port is operating as an oil sector of Shahid Rajaei port special economic zone with the aim of increasing the country's share of the bunkering market, export, import and transit of petroleum products in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea.
