44% increase in unloading of basic commodities in Shahid Rajaei port
Director General of Ports and Maritime of Hormozgan: During the first six months of this year (Iranian year), 1,556,063 tons of basic commodities were unloaded in Shahid Rajaei port, which has increased by 44% compared to the same period last year.

PMO News Portal - Reporting on the six-month performance of Shahid Rajaei port, Alireza Mohammadi Karaji Ran stated: Basic commodities were unloaded by 33 ships, of which 15 ships shipped 452,338 tons of edible oil. the basic commodities included vegetable oil, rice, corn, sugar, soybean meal, fertilizer, wheat and barley. During this period, 400,616 tons of wheat have been unloaded by six ships.

The director of Shahid Rajaei Port Special Economic Zone reported the amount of sugar unlloaded in the mentioned period as 315 thousand 751 tons and said: this number has increased by 160% compared to the same period last year.

Mohammadi Karaji Ran added: This year, 31,420 tons of rice and 94,498 tons of fertilizers were unloaded by basic goods ships in Shahid Rajaei port.
