PMO News Portal – Reporting on the six-month activity of
Shahid Rajaei port in containerized good, Alireza Mohammadi Karajiran stated:
During this period, 208,735 TEU entered Shahid Rajaei port, which shows a
decrease of 3% compared to the same period last year. transit of goods during
the mentioned period was 141 thousand TEU, which shows a significant increase
of 85% in comparison with the same period in previous year. In the first six
months of this year (Iranian year), 824 container ships entered Shahid Rajaei
port, which is an increase of 2.4 percent compared to the same period last
year.
It is worth mentioning that Shahid Rajaei port, with 10
container berths with a length of 2,500 meters and utilizing advanced port
equipment, currently has the capacity to unload and load 5.5 million TEU.
