PMO News Portal - In a meeting held virtually at the
headquarters of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in London, Mandana
Mansoorian; The Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the
Permanent Representative of Iran to the International Maritime Organization and
the representative of the Ports and Maritime Organization in IMO , was elected
as the Vice-Chairman of the Technical Cooperation Committee of the
International Maritime Organization for the third consecutive year and retained
in her post.
It is worth mentioning that Mandana Mansoorian is the first woman
to be elected as the Vice President of the IMO Technical Cooperation Committee.
The Representative of Iran to the International Maritime
Organization said: on the 71st meeting
of the Technical Cooperation Committee of the International Maritime
Organization, which was held virtually for 5 days, this committee focused on
the training of human resources working in The maritime industry with emphasize
on developing countries.
