The Director General of Port Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization reported a 14% increase in the volume of unloading and loading operations in the country's ports during the first five months (of Iranian calendar) compared to the same period last year

PMO News portal – Ravanbakhsh Behzadian pointed out that the volume of unloading and loading operations in container, dry bulk, liquid bulk, general cargo and petroleum products in the country's ports during the first five months of this year was around 58.99 million tons and added that This amount compared to the same period last year, which was equivalent to 51.73 million tons, indicates a growth of 14%.

in this report, Unloading and loading operations in the ports of Abadan, Arvandkenar, Astara, Imam Khomeini, Amirabad, Anzali, Bushehr, Tiab, Jask, Chabahar, Charak, Choubdeh, Khorramshahr, Deir, Shahid Bahonar, Shahid Rajaei, Shahid Haghani, Fereydoun Kenar, Qeshm , Genaveh, Lengeh and Nowshahr were considered.

The Director General of Port Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization stated: The amount of unloading and loading operations by the end of August of this year is 8.66 million tons in the container sector, 17.77 million tons in dry bulk, 1.94 million tons in liquid bulk, 8.37 million tons in General Cargo and 22.24 million tons in petroleum products.
