PMO News Portal - Mohammad Ali Asl Saeedipoor stated: Amirabad port is
trying to support active exporters in Amirabad port by creating export
incentives and helping to supply raw materials to factories located in the hinterland
of the special zone.
Saeedipoor pointed to a 10% increase in exports of goods
since the beginning of this year (Iranian Calaendar) compared to the same
period last year in Bandar Amirabad and added: Rebar, guardrails, facade
stones, construction materials, prefabricated blocks, granite and sugar are
some of the goods that are being exported through Amirabad port to CIS
countries.
“Due to the capacity and nature of the northern provinces in
the production of agricultural goods, including vegetables and citrus, the
operation of the port refrigerated container terminal of Amirabad port and the
cold storage can create suitable conditions for exporting this type of products
to Caspian littoral state”, Saeedipoor emphasized.
