29% growth of operational indicators in the Eastern ports of Hormozgan
The Director of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Shahid Bahonar and East of Hormozgan reported on the constant operational growth in the ports during the first four months of the year

PMO News Portal - Regarding the four-month performance of the ports of East of Hormozgan, Hamidreza Mohammad Hosseini Takhti reported that in unloading and loading of goods in these ports, a 29% growth has been recorded compared to the same period last year.

Out of a total of 875,295 tons of unloaded and loaded goods, 666,000 tons were related to non-oil cargo (46% increase compared to last year) and 208,000 tons were related to oil products exported from the eastern terminals to the Persian Gulf states.

Mohammad Hosseini Takhti described the main non-oil goods exported from the eastern ports of the province as fruits and vegetables, sulfur, iron and construction materials and food, and said: they have been loaded to be exported to Oman and the UAE.
