PMO News Portal - Regarding the four-month performance of
the ports of East of Hormozgan, Hamidreza Mohammad Hosseini Takhti reported
that in unloading and loading of goods in these ports, a 29% growth has been recorded
compared to the same period last year.
Out of a total of 875,295 tons of unloaded and loaded goods,
666,000 tons were related to non-oil cargo (46% increase compared to last year)
and 208,000 tons were related to oil products exported from the eastern
terminals to the Persian Gulf states.
Mohammad Hosseini Takhti described the main non-oil goods
exported from the eastern ports of the province as fruits and vegetables,
sulfur, iron and construction materials and food, and said: they have been
loaded to be exported to Oman and the UAE.
