PMO News Portal - Regarding the inauguration of projects of the
ports and maritime organization which will create more than 765 job opportunities,
Mohammad Rastad stated: about 6 thousand 876 billion Rls. plus 87.9 million
euros, as well as more than 382 billion Rls. by the private sector, have been
invested for 16 new mega projects of the Ports and Maritime Organization.
He added: Of these 16 diverse and extensive projects, 2
projects have been carried out by private sector investors in ports and other
projects have been implemented by PMO. These projects are in the field of
infrastructure, buildings, vessels, port equipment, maritime safety, port
security and maritime transport facilitation.
Emphasizing that the new operate projects of the Ports and
Maritime Organization are considered steps forward in the development and
equipping of the country's maritime and port sector, the managing director of
PMO said: The 16 mentioned projects are located in Hormozgan, Khuzestan,
Bushehr and Mazandaran provinces. The process defined by the Ports and Maritime
Organization in this regard is that large projects are put into operation in
stages, in addition to other projects that will need additional equipment.
