The Director General of Coastal and Port Engineering announced the agreement of the Marine Structures Licensing Committee of PMO with the construction, operation and renewal of licenses of 6 projects in the southern ports of the country.

PMO News Portal - Regarding the construction and operation of six offshore structures in the southern ports, Hamid Khalili stated: The initial permit was issued to locate the construction of a special wharf in Hormozgan and the construction of the Ramchah fishing port in this province.

He added: A permit was also issued for the operation of the electricity transmission tower to Qeshm Island and another one for the construction of a recreational complex in Bushehr.

It should be noted that according to paragraph 22 of Article 3 of the By-Laws of the Ports and Maritime Organization, approved by the Islamic Consultative Assembly in 1987, This organization is obliged to prevent the construction or operation of unlicensed offshore facilities and equipment through the competent legal authorities.
