PMO News Portal - During his visit to Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar, Mohammad Eslami emphasized that the port capacity has increased to 8.5 million tons, and said: Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar is the only oceanic port in the country that has an effective role in Iran's trade which will be significant from now on through the north-south corridor.

He added: in the international developments and bilateral and multilateral agreements with the countries of this region, we should develop the conditions in order to expand the port capacities and capabilities. currently, the most important mutual cooperation is the agreement between Iran, Afghanistan and India.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development continued: Shahid Beheshti port of Chabahar is equipped with the most modern equipment and handles the unloading and loading services in accordance with international standards.
