development process that this port is going through, Mohammad Eslami stated: I
see a bright future for the Makran coast, which certainly has far more economic
potential than the southern part of the Persian Gulf, given the region’s access
to many parts pf the world through oceans and open water, it has far more
economic potential than the southern part of the Persian Gulf.
“In the framework of the agreement defined in interaction
with neighboring countries and India, we see constant demands for the participation
of various countries, especially Central Asian countries, in the development of
Chabahar port. furthermore, ports of Chabahar, Gwadar and Karachi can partner
with Indian ports and create an interactive chain.” added The Minister of Roads
and Urban Development “Chabahar port equipment is expanding and the Indian
company is fulfilling its partnership commitments to equip, develop and operate
Shahid Beheshti port of Chabahar”
stating that investment in Chabahar port has a growing trend,
Eslami highlighted: We are planning to start the second phase of Chabahar port
development in the coming months to increase the capacity of Chabahar port to
30 million tons.
