PMO Member of board of directors: Due to the increase in costs and exchange rates, the proposed tariff policy will motivate the private sector to operate in the country's ports.
PMO News Portal - Regarding the proposed tariff policies of this organization in the port and maritime services sector for the year 2021-2022, Farhad Montaser Kouhsari stated: Ports and Maritime Organization puts the review of maritime and port service tariffs on its agenda every year, since making the best use of the capacities of the private sector in Iranian ports is one of top priorities for PMO.
Kouhsari added: With the meetings held in the Supreme Transport Council of the country and all relevant organizations and institutions, it was decided to increase the port tariffs only in transportation and warehousing fields for the year 2021-2022.
