the country, Mohammad Rastad stated that Supporting the construction of new vessels
domestically in order to upgrade the naval fleet and use domestic capabilities
is on the agenda of the Ports and Maritime Organization.
“The construction of the vessel by domestic producers is
aimed at creating employment, developing the maritime industry, improving the
situation of maritime tourism and improving the level of safety of sea voyages.
the Ports and Maritime Organization provides incentives for the purchase of the
vessel, given that the vessel on demand is domestically produced. It is
necessary to provide suitable spaces for the development of maritime tourism,
along with the improvement and upgrading of the passenger and maritime tourism
fleet by providing facilities.”, Rastad added.
Referring to the latest status of goods stored in the
country's ports, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development expressed
that Currently, there are about 4 million tons of basic commodities in the
country's commercial ports and over one million tons of cargo are being unloaded
or waiting to enter ports.
