During the visit of PMO’s managing director accompanied with members of the Board of directors of this organization, the 10th Vessel Carrying Indian Wheat Aid to Afghanistan berthed at the port of Chabahar and the unloading operation started.

 PMO News Portal - The managing director and members of the Board of directors the Ports and Maritime Organization arrived in Chabahar port to visit the latest status of construction projects in this port complex.

During the visit of the board of directors, the 10th Vessel Carrying Indian Wheat Aid to Afghanistan berthed at the port of Chabahar and the unloading operation started immediately. According to the schedule, 75,000 tons of wheat aid by India to Afghanistan will be transited through the port of Chabahar; Accordingly, the last ship of this transit cargo arrived in Chabahar port with 193 containers.

the development projects of the port including the refrigerated container terminal, power supply project, 6 high voltage power substations and lighting of 63 hectares of lands of Shahid Beheshti port and construction of multi-purpose warehouse in Shahid Beheshti port are among the other projects to be visited by the board of directors.
