International Maritime Day, referring to the theme of the year
"Sustainable shipping for a sustainable planet", Jalil Eslami stated
that Shipping of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including public and private sector,
with efforts all around the clock, have provided stable and reliable conditions
for the country's trade despite threats and restrictions. Arrangements have
been made to increase the role of small shipping companies and the
non-governmental sector in the country's transportation economy.

maritime requirements now, adding: "We now declare that the shipping of
the Islamic Republic of Iran fully complies with international standards and no
port in the world could consider restriction for Iranian fleet.
proper maritime training courses for seafarers to be
employed in domestic and foreign fleet, were hedld in spite of Corona virus
pandemic in accordance with the health protocols. No maritime training courses
have been stopped in the country and 260 training courses have been held in the
provinces so far; Eslami emphasized.
