PMO News Portal - During his visit to Hormozgan Province, Mohammad
Eslami stated that 1,800 km of coastal corridor is being constructed in the
south of the country, and further specified: "Of this amount, 1,000 km has
been put into operation and the rest is under construction, in Hormozgan."
So far, half of this year's commitments for the construction
of the coastal strip in the Hormozgan area have been implemented, and by the
end of the year, the project will get to its final stage.

for the development of Shahid Rajaei Port, The Minister of Roads and Urban
Development continued: Phase 3 of Shahid Rajaei Port is one of the few projects
that is in progress around the clock and the port capacity in terms of
container will increase from 6.3 m TEU to 8.2 m TEU. It is estimated that the
capacity of ports will increase to 280 million tons, and in the meantime,
Shahid Rajaei port with a capacity of 100 million tons is one of the most
important ports in the country.
