He continued about navigation charts previously prepared by international organizations: "These charts have been developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran for the past three years, and provided to ships intending to pass through the Persian Gulf or visit an Iranian port. It is worth mentioning that all these charts are electronic and bear the name "Persian Gulf"."
Dr. Hadi Haghshenas pointed to the fact that any VHF or radio communication within the Persian Gulf needed to include its correct name: "In other words, PMO officially recognizes communications only if they use the name "Persian Gulf"."
He concluded by recalling the name "Persian Gulf" as being mentioned in all relevant historical documents, and elaborated: "In the past years, the Arabic countries of the region have invested heavily in wrongly substituting that name, which might have succeeded in leaving a short-term impact on global community. History, however, will always reveal the truth, since all historical evidence verify and endorse "Persian Gulf" as the correct name for this body of water."
